Description

JANUS GL 4 is a HC-Synthetic multigrade gear oil for manual synchromesh gear boxes, axles and transfer boxes, which was developed specifically for trucks and buses equipped with manual ZF gearboxes.

JANUS GL 4 provides excellent low friction characteristics due to the modern synthetic basis and multiple range viscosity, setting benchmarks regarding lifetime of the machine.

JANUS GL 4 enables significant longer intervals for oil change intervals in comparison to existing schedules (observe constructors prescriptions).

Disposal

• JANUS GL 4 is assigned to category 2 of used oils and thus is free for disposal. 

Miscibility

• JANUS GL 4 is fully compatible with comparable lubricants and can be mixed without any problems. In order to get the full benefit of JANUS GL 4 it is highly recommended to avoid a mixture of JANUS GL 4 with conventional shifting gear lubricants.
