Customs number: 38200000
Catalog page DV/WINTER/-
Description
Driver Antifreeze RND is a full concentrate based on ethylene glycol, coolant and heat transfer agent for summer and winter operations with frost- and corrosion protection abilities (all year round).
With Driver Antifreeze RND, the silicate-free carboxylate technology enables long-term protection for all applied materials on the engine, especially for aluminum and iron alloys.
Driver Antifreeze RND offers a long- lasting corrosion protection by the use of optimized organic corrosion inhibitors.
Driver Antifreeze RND is free of nitrite, amine, phosphate and silicate.
Properties
- Longer and outstanding corrosion protection
- Improved heat transfer
- Decreased right to compensation regarding repairs at the coolong system
- Environmentally friendly by the use of carboxylates
- Avoidance of foaming
- Compatibility with hose and sealing materials
- Compatibility with varnishes
- Improved heat pump performance
Application
Driver Antifreeze RND can be used without restrictions in engines out of cast iron, aluminum and/ or a combination out of both metals in cooling systems made out of aluminum or copper alloys.
Driver Antifreeze RND is particularly recommended for high- tech engines that require special aluminum protection at higher temperatures.
Typical mixtures in Northern Europe contain 50% of Driver Antifreeze RND and 50% of water at which a frost protection down to -38°C is achieved. Reliable corrosion protection is achieved from 30% of Driver Antifreeze RND and 70% of water.

Miscibility
- Driver Antifreeze RND is miscible with several coolants based on ethylene glycol. For an optimal corrosion protection and to prevent sludge formation the unmixed use of Driver Antifreeze RND is recommended.
- For mixtures we recommend the use of deionized (demineralized) or distilled water.
