Description

Antifreeze XX 12 Evox is a premium radiator protection agent, a fully concentrated radiator protection and heat transfer agent based on ethylene glycol, for summer and winter operation, which enables maintenance‑free protection against frost, overheating and rust formation (long‑life radiator protection). Antifreeze XX 12 Evox is a new, modern radiator protection and heat transfer agent with high‑quality corrosion additives for the engine and cooling system and meets the current requirements of many OEMs, whereby organic and silicate‑containing technologies complement each other excellently (Si‑OAT coolant). Antifreeze XX 12 Evox is free of 2‑ethylhexanoic acid, borate, phosphate, nitrite and amine. With the correct concentration of the radiator antifreeze, vehicle tests have shown that effective corrosion protection is achieved for up to 5 years or 250,000 km. It is recommended to change the radiator antifreeze after reaching the mileage or after 5 years.

Use

  • Antifreeze XX 12 Evox is excellent for engines made of cast iron, aluminum, iron alloys or a combination of these metals and in cooling systems made of aluminum or copper alloys.

  • Antifreeze XX 12 Evox is particularly recommended for light alloy engines where special aluminum protection is required at higher temperatures.
  • Recommended application concentration 50% Antifreeze XX 12 Evox and 50% water, whereby frost protection of ‑38°C is achieved. With a maximum of 60% Antifreeze XX 12 Evox and 40% water, frost protection down to ‑50°C is possible.

    Can be used in hybrid vehicles and battery‑powered electric vehicles provided there are no requirements for electrical conductivity.

    Manufacturer instructions must always be observed.

Miscibility

Antifreeze XX 12 Evox is miscible with most ethylene glycol based coolants. For optimum corrosion protection and to prevent sludge formation, the unmixed use of Antifreeze XX 12 Evox recommended. Softened water should preferably be used to prepare mixtures. Before use, we recommend emptying the cooling system and rinsing it with clean water.
