Description

Antifreeze ANF 2270 is a full concentrate special coolant based on monoethylene glycol for summer and winter operation with frost and rust protection effect (year‑round use). Antifreeze ANF 2270 , the special high‑performance, corrosion inhibitor (with increased corrosion protection content) for the engine and cooling system, meets modern requirements in the development of engine construction. Antifreeze ANF 2270 is free of nitrite, amine and phosphate.

Use

Due to the specially used additives, Antifreeze ANF 2270 is ideal for aluminium, light metal and grey cast iron engines (please note the manufacturer's instructions).
With 33% Antifreeze ANF 2270 and 67% water, frost protection down to ‑20°C is achieved.
Recommended application concentration 50% Antifreeze ANF 2270 and 50% water, whereby frost protection down to ‑38°C is achieved. With a maximum of 69% Antifreeze ANF 2270 and 31% water, frost protection down to ‑69°C is possible.
Depending on the type and manufacturer, the contents of the cooling system should be replaced every 2 to 3 years.
Can be used in hybrid vehicles and battery‑powered electric vehicles provided there are no requirements for electrical conductivity.
Manufacturer instructions must always be observed.

Miscibility

Antifreeze ANF 2270 is miscible with most ethylene glycol based coolants. For optimum corrosion protection and to prevent sludge formation, the unmixed use of Antifreeze ANF 2270 recommended. Softened water should preferably be used to prepare mixtures.
