Use
Antifreeze ANF 40 is ideal for aluminum, light metal and gray cast iron engines thanks to the specially used additives.
Recommended application concentration 50% Antifreeze ANF 40 and 50% water, whereby frost protection down to approx. ‑38°C is achieved. With a maximum of 68% Antifreeze ANF 40 and 32% water, frost protection down to ‑69°C is possible.
Depending on the type and manufacturer, the contents of the cooling system should be replaced every 2 to 3 years.
Can be used in hybrid vehicles and battery‑powered electric vehicles provided there are no requirements for electrical conductivity.
Manufacturer instructions must always be observed.
Miscibility
Universal Kühlerschutz BS is miscible with most ethylene glycol based coolants. For optimum corrosion protection and to prevent sludge formation, the unmixed use of Universal Kühlerschutz BS recommended. Softened water should preferably be used to prepare mixtures.
