Description

Antifreeze NF is a full concentrate coolant based on monoethylene glycol for summer and winter operation with frost and rust protection effect (year‑round use). Antifreeze NF The high‑performance, anti‑corrosion antifreeze for the engine and cooling system meets modern requirements in the development of engine construction. Antifreeze NF is free of nitrite, amine and phosphate.

Properties

  • compatibility with varnishes

  • Prevention of cavitation damage, e.g. on the coolant pump
  • Avoiding deposits that can lead to radiator blockages
  • foam prevention
  • Compatibility with hose and sealing materials
  • Protection against corrosion for all components of the cooling system made of steel, gray cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, soft solder.

Use

  • Antifreeze ANF 40 is ideal for aluminum, light metal and gray cast iron engines thanks to the specially used additives.

Recommended application concentration 50% Antifreeze ANF 40 and 50% water, whereby frost protection down to approx. ‑38°C is achieved. With a maximum of 68% Antifreeze ANF 40 and 32% water, frost protection down to ‑69°C is possible.

Depending on the type and manufacturer, the contents of the cooling system should be replaced every 2 to 3 years.

Can be used in hybrid vehicles and battery‑powered electric vehicles provided there are no requirements for electrical conductivity.

Manufacturer instructions must always be observed.

Miscibility

Antifreeze NF is miscible with most ethylene glycol based coolants. For optimum corrosion protection and to prevent sludge formation, the unmixed use of Antifreeze NF recommended. Softened water should preferably be used to prepare mixtures.
