Description

CALICON 89*5 is a hypoid gear oil for mechanical transmissions based on high‑quality, solvent‑refined base oils. CALICON 89*5 Multigrade hypoid gear oil: To avoid having to change the gear oil seasonally, Metron GL 5 multigrade hypoid gear oil is available in SAE 80W90 viscosity. It can be used in both winter and summer operation. The universal application of Metron GL 5 SAE 80W/90 reduces the risk of confusion and simplifies storage. The balanced additive combination ensures properties such as high pressure absorption capacity, above‑average viscosity‑temperature behavior, high oxidation stability, low pour points, good wear protection and freedom from sludge.
