GLEIT- UND BETTBAHNÖL (CGLP 68) is characterized by special lubricating and sliding properties and high adhesive strength. It is therefore particularly suitable for lubricating slideways and bed tracks or similar guides. The low‑viscosity types are preferred for power and pressure transmission in hydraulic systems of machine tools. GLEIT- UND BETTBAHNÖL (CGLP 68) is also equipped with good corrosion protection properties to prevent rust and staining on slideways and bed tracks. GLEIT- UND BETTBAHNÖL (CGLP 68) is largely resistant to aqueous metalworking media such as drilling, cutting and grinding emulsions or solutions. The lubricating film is not washed or flushed away by these media.

Utilization
Slide and bedway oil CGLP is suitable for all types of lubrication such as pressure, circulation and central lubrication, as well as for immersion and pressure lubrication and for manual lubrication using an oil can. Also suitable for bearing and gear lubrication and high‑speed spindles.
For machines with a common oil circuit, for the hydraulics and for lubrication of the bedway but at normal operating temperatures.
Disposal
GLEIT- UND BETTBAHNÖL (CGLP 68) is assigned to used oil category 2 and is therefore safe for disposal.
Miscibility
GLEIT- UND BETTBAHNÖL (CGLP 68) is fully compatible with comparable lubricants and can be mixed safely. However, it is recommended to use only GLEIT- UND BETTBAHNÖL (CGLP 68) to use.
